Sharon Osbourne Calls Prince Harry ‘Poster Boy Of White Privilege’

As we previously reported, on Friday, Sharon Osbourne did her first interview following her controversial exit from “The Talk.” During her appearance on Real Time With Bill Maher, the former talk show host explained that she’s “angry, I’m hurt. I’ve been called so many things in my life… but a racist is one thing I will not take,” she told Maher. CBS confirmed the news of Osbourne’s exit on March 26, several days after she defended Piers Morgan and his harsh Meghan Markle comments, and had an intense argument with former co-host Sheryl Underwood.

While speaking on the subject of what led to Osbourne’s ousting from “The Talk,” which was Meghan and Prince Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, Osbourne said, “she’s entitled to her opinion, Piers is entitled to his, and that’s what it’s all about. That’s what it’s all about! And then you’re entitled to have a disagreement, discuss it in a normal way.”

Deeper into the conversation she went on to share what she thinks about the former Royal couple, especially Prince Harry: “You know when they say white privilege? You know, right there with Harry. Right there. He is the poster boy,” she insisted. “So you know, he sits there and says ‘daddy cut him off and he’s not on the wages anymore’ and he was boohooing about it.”You can’t feel empathy for that,” she continued. “Because you’re a healthy, bright, educated young man. You can do whatever you want to do. Your life is your own.”

She then went on to question Prince Harry’s own feelings about race and privilege. Check out the full interview below:
