As we previously reported, the NBA went on hiatus on March 11 almost immediately after Gobert was diagnosed with coronavirus. The league joined a number of sports putting their season on pause, which included numerous European soccer leagues, the NHL and the PGA Tour. The NCAA also canceled the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments.
Per the team’s official website, Jazz players along with the staff will continue to practice distancing while limiting time outside of their home to essential activities, in accordance with recommendations by the NBA and the Centers for Disease Control.
