A Florida restaurant has closed its doors after a video went viral showing raw meat thawing outside in a sink behind the building.

WSTP reports the video went viral on social media after it showed the raw meat thawing outside in a sink behind the restaurant along with more food is placed on the ground away from an open door. Jay White originally uploaded the video on his Instagram page under the handle @unclepookie_813 who was outside of Li’s Chinese Kitchen in Port Richey when he spotted the sink.

“It was like seeing a dead body. They got the meat thawing out in this nasty a** sink, outside,”

White also questioned the employees in the video when he spotted the food stored on the ground: “What’s that meat there for?  You serve that to people. You ‘all got noodles right there!  And you got meat on the floor in there. You can’t do that man,” A worker tried to place the meat inside of the restaurant but White tells her to throw it in the garbage.

A health inspection report says the restaurant has failed to meet inspection standards eight out of ten times in 2018. There have been repeated violations for food handling, temperature abuse, insects and potential cross-contamination.
