Rapper Chika Updates Fans After Attempting Suicide: ‘Alive & Wanna Be Left Alone’
Yesterday (Mar. 26), rapper Chika left fans everywhere concerned after attempting suicide and leaving several suicide notes on social media. Now, she updates that she’s “alive” and wants to be “left alone.”
Taking to her Instagram Story, Chika left a lengthy note detailing how she planned to end her life, but couldn’t do it. She goes on to explain things happening in her life and how she’s feeling alone. She coupled the post with an image of herself and a caption, “I’m not making it home.” She also sent a series of tweets to Twitter, where she blasted those who did her wrong and live tweeted about her anxiety/panic attack while on a plane. Her last tweet simply said, “Bye.”
Fans and other celebrities sent their love and prayers to Chika as she went silent. A day later, she hopped back on Twitter and updated fans that she’s still with us. She wrote, “alive. wanna go home. leaving the hospital. not that i should care about updating anyone besides family. i just wanna be left alone, if that’s okay. i appreciate the prayers and stuff. thanks.” #Socialites, let’s continue to pray for Chika.
