Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were proud parents last night after they pulled up to The Vic in Chicago to attend and support their daughter North West’s first solo performance as an artist.
At just 13 years old, North headlined her first concert and her parents were their to support from each side of the balcony VIP. Before attending North’s show, each of her parents attended to some business in The Chi.
On Saturday (September 5), Kim first stopped by her SKIMS flagship store on Chicago’s Gold Coast. Meanwhile, Ye was fresh off his two sold-out concerts at Soldier Field. Despite their busy schedules, the two parents each ended up in the same building later that night. They each entered The Vic Theatre and sat separately to watch their daughter perform.

At the venue, North hosted an all-ages one-night show. She performed songs from her debut album, and even performed an unreleased track that samples Ye’s “Coldest Winter.” The event arrived after North’s ‘Kimokawaii Tour,’ a 14-date North American run with rapper Molly Santana, was cancelled.
Instead of throwing in the towel and feeling defeated, North committed to the stage and her fans. Prior to her first solo performance, North released her debut album ‘N0rth4evr’ in May. The project features six tracks spanning 11 minutes total, and blends Rage Rap, Emo, HyperPop, Alternative Rock, and Metal. When previously asked to describe her performance style, North did so in three words, “Fun, reliving, and exciting.”
