Miss Quad Talks ‘Sister Circle’ Cancellation, Her ‘Married To Medicine’ Return & Mariah Huq’s Missing Contract On #QuarantineChronicles
It’s time for another round of ‘Quarantine Chronicles!‘ The latest episode welcomes ‘Married To Medicine‘ star and ‘Sister Circle‘ creator and host Miss Quad.
HU’s Jason Lee and Miss Quad, full name Quad Webb-Lunceford, discuss her return to ‘Married To Medicine‘ and frenemy Mariah Huq‘s missing contract, the unfortunate cancellation of ‘Sister Circle,’ her dating preferences and new cookbook, ‘Cooking with Miss Quad.’
Upon asking if Bravo’s ‘Married To Medicine‘ is returning, Jason recalls seeing Quad’s co-star and frenemy Mariah Huq posting on Instagram about not receiving her contract for the next season. Quad eloquently shares that she’s secured her position and can’t speak for others. Jason also asks, how do you get kicked off a show that you owned, and Quad explains the behind the scenes business of the industry.

Regarding her own show, ‘Sister Circle,’ Miss Quad reveals that after three seasons the show has come to an end. She affirms that TEGNA, the production company involved, abruptly pulled out, without any heads up given to her team nor the distribution company, TVOne. Quad says there’s been a lot of progressive conversations since then about bringing another version back to the viewers.

Jumping from professional life to personal, Jason asks Quad if she’s single or in a relationship, to which she responds she’s been dating. Together, they talk their qualities and preferences they look for in partners. She ends the conversation confirming she’s definitely doing another book, with possibilities for vegan and pescatarian options.

Recently, Quad dropped a cookbook, ‘Cooking with Miss Quad,’ and explains that cooking has gotten her through very difficult times in her life and has given her peace of mind. She adds that coming up with the cookbook came easy for her.
