Sheesh! Meek Mill is ripping fellow Philadelphia native DJ Drama to pieces, and calling him a “goofy” and exposes their texts after Drama called Drake the JAY-Z of this generation over Meek.
In August 2022, DJ Drama sat with the Rory and Mal podcast and said that “everybody did something wrong” during the infamous beef between Drake and Meek Mill.
He said, “Quentin did something wrong, DJ Drama did something wrong, Drake did something wrong, Meek Mill did something wrong, Nicki Minaj did something wrong, like everybody played a role. We can sit here today and talk about it. Listen, everyone I named, I love y’all to death. I hope no one takes this the wrong way again. It’s water under the bridge, it went down. It was a Hip Hop moment, like it’s Hip Hop history. Those guys have gotten to tell their true sides of their stories.”
Meek Mill Calls DJ Drama A ‘Goofy’ And Exposes Texts After Drama Calls Drake The JAY-Z Of This Generation Over Meek
Despite claiming everything was water under the bridge, that water is starting to rise again as Drama has now drug up the two rappers in another interview.
During the recent interview with Baltimore journalist Jay Hill, Drama is asked who would he consider the new generation’s JAY-Z: Drake or Meek Mill. Drama went with the former and said, “[Drake] a thousand percent.”
He continued to explain his choice, “Drake came out in 2008, it’s 2023. He changed the sound of Hip-Hop. he’s literally ran every Summer. Everyone wanted to be like Hov, and sound like Hov.”
When Drama tried to change perspectives and see why the host and other people would say Meek over Drake, he said, “Meek is more connected to the streets. But, I’m talking about from a Hip-Hop, cultural perspective. The way Drake touches the culture is the way Hov touched the culture. Drake is a n***a on steroids. he sings, he raps. He does sh*t that had never been seen. And like I said, if we look at how melodic Hip-Hop is today, would it be that way if it wasn’t for Drizzy?”
Drama added, “I think that the same way Hov would even attach himself to other artists and they would go on to have successful runs, Drake does that as well. They say he has ‘the golden touch.’ So, I think Drake is the closest thing we’ve seen to Hov when it comes to dominance and runs in the Rap game. And to be honest, I put [Lil] Wayne before I put Meek. If we talking about for your generation. Wayne is the one next to JAY than Meek.”

After catching wind of the interview, Meek hopped on his favorite social media network and tweeted off, “DJ Drama a goofy over these h*es lol he won’t speak good on me I tore him up in the A.”
Meek then exposed texts from a group chat where Meek called Drama a “clown,” after he texted the chat about having his rollout messed up because of some things said about him in an interview.
Meek captioned the screenshot, “I asked drama why he always speaking down on me with a few other words too told him he’s a goofy… I also hit him when he tried to compare “Dreams and Nightmares” to [Lil Uzi Vert’s] “I Wanna Rock” AND DOWNPLAY ME … DON’T LET THESE INDUSTRY LAMES USE YOU THEY DON’T REALLY EVEN LIKE YOU SMH LOL”

Meek continued, “If they asked me about DJ Drama and DJ Khaled I wouldn’t speak, and I made millions on paper with Khaled. I’ll still stay silent … I’m from Philly … and we don’t wear our fitted hats like that Drama. ‘SHOP AT MITCHELL AND NESS.’ That man never did real charity in Philly in his life … I just be saying bits parts online because it be too much to say … I be wanting it to be known when ion Rock wit these goofies … and I stand on my tippy toes when I see them so it’s no confusion before we even interact! ‘Drama queen over these females.'”
He added, “The biggest mistakes you can make in this game is having sex with the wrong females … jealous men will try to destroy you quietly Or find out a way to dislike you lol … y’all can keep them gals I like my family and friends more! It’s saddd lol. And I’m the Meek of this generation … nothing can’t be Hov he laid all this sh*t out for us you gotta make your own movie outchea that’s that n***aitis who the new Hov …. I respect that highly can’t be re-done … drama tryna divide and conquer a feat lol drama basically started/powered that meek and Drake beef … so to see him compare us again and cut youngin’ off to where he can’t barely speak so much gat in his mouth lol.”
When a fan tweeted Meek and asked why is he responding to Drama’s mention about who’s the new JAY-Z, he replied, “I was getting a rich a** massage scrolling on twitter seen a goofy i know speaking on me so I’m speaking my mind … we be multitasking on bs sometimes lol this sh*t hard to figure out it’s lit tho 🤞🏾. I don’t be wanting to secretly beef or secretly play games with nobody … I like put it on the front it’ll add ip later what these bustas being doing.”
Then Meek dropped exposed more tests from the group chat with Drama. He said, “He confirmed tiny desk without speaking to my team or me … I told him I wasn’t locking it in … I’m not even on his album …I’m too up to be working another man’s album rollout wtf …everytime I rap I get rich and I ain’t been barely rapping I been on business timing ….I hate these industry n***as, if they can’t use you they try to devalue you to the public! Like I won’t wild him right upppp smh😂
After Meek began his tweets about Drama speaking on the “new JAY-Z,” the DJ chimed in and sent off an Instagram Story and said, “This is really why he mad [shrug emoji]. watch for yaselves.. Where’s the lie?! 😂😂.”
