Man Robs Pharmacy And Leaves Note: “I’m Sorry, I Have A Sick Child”

A Philadephia man robbed a pharmacy last week and left a note apologizing for the act and said he had a “sick child.”

According to FOX News, the Philadelphia Police Department is looking for a male suspect after he robbed a Rite Aid at Ogontz Avenue on January 3. The pharmacy’s surveillance footage shows the unidentified man approaching the cashier with an item in his hand. Instead of paying for the item. the suspect hands the Rite Aid employee a note that reads, “Give me all the money. I’m sorry, I have a sick child. You have 15 seconds.”

He searches through his pocket and leans over the counter, leading the cashier to place the money in a bag. The amount of money stolen from the pharmacy is currently unknown. Police reported the suspect fled on foot north towards 75th street.

Investigators described the suspect as a black male, 5 feet 10 inches, who wore a grey hoodie, jeans, and prescription glasses during the robbery.
