The glitz and glamour of Hollywood collided with the power of beauty and creativity as the stars aligned to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Derick Monroe’s ‘Behind The Scenes Beauty’. This milestone event, hosted by Monroe himself, brought together a star-studded lineup including the fabulous Tiffany Haddish, the talented Raven Symone, the legendary Whoopi Goldberg, and many more.
In a sweet tribute to the series that has captivated audiences for half a decade, Derick Monroe hosted a special anniversary brunch this past Sunday at Harbor New York City.
Raven-Symoné received the prestigious Outstanding Contribution Award, while makeup artist Merrell Hollis and Whoopi Goldberg received the same honor, the Trailblazers Award. Making the day even more special, businesswoman Danelle Jackson Howard was also honored with the Representation Award, respectively.
Taking to social media to express his gratitude, Monroe shared his heartfelt appreciation for the successful event. He said:
