Lindsay Clancy’s ex-husband Patrick Clancy is speaking out for the first time after her controversial case and subsequent mistrial. Patrick Clancy and his second wife — reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist Dr. Rachel Danis — sit down with ’60 Minutes.’
In the new interview, the couple spoke about Lindsay’s viral case, the former couple’s late children, and how the new couple is ready to start a new family together.
During the sit-down, Patrick recalled his ex-wife experiencing postpartum depression and mental illness. He admitted that he did not know how to manage her symptoms and illness. Patrick also recalled the weeks before the deaths of their three children: Cora Clancy, Callan Clancy, and Dawson Clancy.
He opened up about his children’s deaths and what he believed caused his ex-wife to fatally harm their children. Patrick also opened up about forgiving her and revealing whether or not he believes he failed her and his children.

Patrick Clancy And New Wife Rachel Danis Starting New Family Together
Patrick revealed what he kept from the family home, like different toys and items to remind him of children’s lives. He also admitted to dreaming about his children and how he talks to them.
Elsewhere in the interview, Patrick addressed online accusations about him and Lindsay. Some speculation accuses Patrick of being the true murderer, helping Lindsay perform or cover up the acts, or just being completely uncaring about it all.
Patrick also opened up about testifying during Lindsay’s case. He admitted that he had “a massive traumatic panic attack.” Later, Patrick is joined by his current wife Rachel Danis. The two talk about how they met and how Rachel has helped Patrick with his grief.
She admitted, “I can’t bring his kids back,” but she helps him honor his children. Rachel also revealed she and Patrick are starting their own family and “can’t wait to tell them about their brothers and sister.”
