LeBron James Tests Positive For Covid-19 Despite Being Vaccinated

According to TMZ, Lebron James has tested positive for COVID-19 this afternoon and will miss tonights game due to NBA health protocols.  James was provided a follow-up PCR test to verify the diagnosis. However, that test turned out to be negative. LeBron was then assigned a third tie-breaker test, which came back positive.

It’s been reported that the team called Lebron James a private jet so he can be transported back to Los Angeles. 

Reports say that the pro star is currently asymptomatic. As previously reported Lebron spoke out saying, he got vaccinated but won’t urge others to do the same: “that’s not my job.”

James has only played in 11 of the Lakers’ 22 games this season after being sitting on the bench with an abdominal strain and fulfilling a one-game hiatus for an on-court incident against the Detroit Pistons that we reported on.

Espn host Adrian Wojnarowski made a tweet on Twitter stating, “Lebron James, who the lakers are listing in health and safety protocols is expected to miss several games, source tells ESPN. Players with positive covid cases must be out a minimum of 10 days.”
