LeBron James Reveals He Got Vaccinated But Won’t Urge Others To Do The Same: “That’s Not My Job”

During the Lakers’ media day, superstar player LeBron James revealed that he has received a COVID-19 vaccination. However, he is urging anyone to do the same.

James explained he was “very skeptical” about the vaccines when they were first released, but after doing his own research, he decided it was “the right thing to do” for himself and his family.

The athlete was asked if he felt compelled to advocate and push others to get bac Images against coronavirus. James simply replied, “That’s not my job.” He went on to say, “I think everyone has their own choice to do what they feel is right for themselves and their family.”

This comes after Basketball legend and longtime activist Kareem Abdul-Jabbar suggested the NBA players who have refused to get vaccinated for COVID should be “disciplined.” However, the NBA said in statement to CBS News that it cannot mandate players to get vaccinated unless the players’ union approves it.
