While James’ move may come as a shock to some, the megastar basketball player already has an ownership stake in English soccer team Liverpool Football Club, which is also owned by Fenway Sports Group, Complex notes.
It was said that LeBron has obtained shares in the Fenway Sports Group but as of right now, there’s no word on how many shares LeBron owns or how much money he put down. However, to note, the Boston Globe is owned by John Henry — the majority owner of the Boston Red Sox, who’s reportedly worth $2.8 BILLION.
