While promoting her new memoir, ‘You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It,’ Rinna briefly opened up about the alleged incident. On Thursday (February 26), the 62-year-old actress told Fox 5 New York’s ‘Good Day New York,’ someone drugged her at ‘The Traitors‘ season 4 premiere party. The event took place on January 8, 2026, the same day the show aired its first episode on Peacock.
On February 23, TMZ first reported on the drugging allegations, claiming someone “roofied” her. Sources told the publication that her ‘Traitors‘ co-star Colton Underwood noticed she looked completely inebriated. However, he also knew she hadn’t drank much, as he was with her the entire night. So, he became quite concerned for her and notified her team, who ultimately escorted her out of the party after a group photo.
At the time of publishing, the publication reported it was unclear if Rinna involved the police or went to the hospital. However, she is now confirming that she did get tested after the event. She told ‘Good Day New York‘ host Rosanna Scotto and guest host Jerry O’Connell that several drugs were found in her system.

Scotto mentioned the allegations about Rinna believing she was possibly roofied at ‘The Traitors‘ premiere party in WeHo. Rinna confirmed, “Yes. I was.” Scotto asked, “You know that for certain?” Rinna again confirmed, “Well, I do.” Scotto asked, “Did you take a test?” Rinna replied, “I did. I had fentanyl in my system. ” O’Connell exclaimed, “What?!” Rinna added, “Yes. I’m not kidding. I had fentanyl, high levels of amphetamines and other things. But I can’t talk a lot about it because we’re still dealing with it. It was leaked, and my team is dealing with it now.”
Scotto asked, “So you’re not going to obviously say who you think might have done that?” Rinna confirmed, “I can’t say, but it was at The Abbey in West Hollywood.” Rinna continued to share that her husband, Harry Hamlin, helped get her out of the bar safely. She said, “But, luckily, my husband was there and was able to get me out of there quickly.”
After Scotto mentioned reports of Rinna simply being overly intoxicated and drunk, she confirmed, “No. I was not. I know [what happened].” O’Connell continued to defend Rinna and said he’s partied with her before. He said, “Lisa can handle her booze. I’ve been booze-ing with you, and you can really handle your booze. You have a good time! But, you handle your booze.” Rinna added, “Yeah, I do.” O’Connell continued to share how glad everyone is that she is okay. He then asked her for some tips on how to protect our drinks at parties. Rinna shared:
“Well, I mean, I don’t know. So many people that I know have had this happen at The Abbey. All my daughter’s friends. I mean, this is not a first-time thing. This is something that’s gone on for years. And I do think it needs to be a conversation. And I’m glad now that it’s out and we will deal with it. I just haven’t had my own time to do that yet.”
