As reported by TMZ, the officers work in the Harbor Division at the Los Angeles Police Department and the post in question has been passed around their offices. On their official Twitter page, the LAPD said, “The Department has become fully aware of allegations that an image was being passed around the department and this image was in the workplace.”

Investigators said they have interviewed the employee who reported the post and said they are trying to identify the employee who created the post.

They further added that another employee filed a complaint about the post and conducted an interview with them before launching the investigation.

“At this point the Department has not identified any actual postings in the workplace or identified that it was in fact our department employee who created the image. We have raised the apparent existence of the image and directed commands to survey the worksites for it.”
