Kristen Bell Combats Backlash After Revealing 5-Year-Old Daughter Is ‘Still In Diapers’
After revealing that her 5-year-old daughter, Delta Bell Shepard, is “still in diapers,” Kristen Bell is combatting against all of the negative backlash. During a recent episode of her web series, ‘Momsplaining with Kristen Bell,’ she admitted, “Currently, my youngest is five-and-a-half, still in diapers. Every kid is so different.”
Since her reveal, the actress and singer, who’s married to actor Dax Shepard, has been under attack on social media, forcing her to address the controversy. Doubling down a bit, she clarifies, “My daughter doesn’t wear diapers during the day, just at night cuz her tiny bladder isn’t up for the 10 hr challenge yet.”

She adds, “I also don’t think its humiliating if ur kid wears diapers late. Everyone is different. My 5yr old wouldn’t be embarrassed even if she was in diapers during the day! Additionally, on another episode of the series, Bell has also shared that her 7-year-old daughter, Lincoln Bell Shepard, stopped wearing diapers at 21 months. She said, “My eldest daughter at 21 months, we merely suggested that she use the toilet in the other room. She never wore another diaper beyond that.”
