After all the hoopla with his NSFW taxi boat ride in Italy with his “wife” Bianca Censori, Kanye West is again causing hysteria as he is now being accused of “breaking Italian anti-terror laws” with his constant use of black face masks.
Earlier this month, we shared that Ye and Bianca had been banned from an Italian boat company after allegedly committing a NSFW act. The rapper was caught by paparazzi enjoying a boat ride in Venice, but in photos, he appeared to have his pants down, with his butt cheeks exposed.
Meanwhile, Bianca Censori was ducked in between Ye’s legs, with her head popping up, realizing the paparazzi following them and taking snaps. Social media went into a frenzy and assumed the couple were in the middle of a lewd act before people nearby began to catch on. Neither of them have spoken out on the incident; however, Daily Mail reported that local police have launched an investigation.
A police source told the outlet, “There are standards of public decorum that have to be followed by tourists and locals alike and any breaches are severely punished. The images of West with his trousers down while in a taxi as he and his partner crossed the lagoon were seen all over the globe. You could clearly see his trousers were half down and we have received complaints from people who witnessed it. Now we have identified the driver of the boat and we will be asking him what he saw as well.”
They added, “The offense being investigated is acts contrary to public decency which is punishable by an administrative sanction.” It was also reported that Venezia Turismo Motascafi, the firm that owned the boat in question, stated they were “completely unaware” of the incident; adding, “The driver had to keep a lookout for traffic and did not see these obscenities. If this had happened, he would have immediately disembarked and reported the transgressors to those in authority.”
In addition to Kanye West also being reportedly investigated for an alleged indecent exposure over his NSFW taxi boat ride, “a top lawyer” is now accusing Ye of “breaking Italian anti-terror laws” over his habitual use of wearing black face masks in public.
On Friday evening (September 22), Ye was spotted in Milan attending a show by fashion designer Zanotti, and was later seen doing an interview. During the latter, he was wearing an all black outfit with a full face covering, similar to his look when he was in Florence.
According to Daily Mail, Italy has several anti-terror and public order laws that reportedly prohibit wearing items that “hamper an individual’s identification.” It is noted that one of the laws, called Article 533 and introduced in 1977, combats domestic terrorism, and restricts face coverings in public, unless for religious reasons with prior authorization.
Additionally, it is reported that an offense is “punishable by a fine of 1,000 Euro up to a maximum of 2,000 Euro.”

Speaking with Daily Mail, lawyer Angelo Russo said Ye is in breach of these protective laws. Russo said, “Obviously there are exceptions, wearing a scarf or balaclava over your face during the winter would be tolerated. But wearing a full face covering at any other time, particularly in good weather, would not be seen as a reasonable and the police would have permission to stop and question the individual.”
Additionally, officials are now investigation whether or not any “offense contrary to public decency” was committed by Ye with his black face masks, if so, he’ll be facing fine(s) for breaking the Italian laws.
