#JusticeForBreonnaTaylor: Tina Knowles-Lawson Calls Out Kentucky AG For His ‘Coonery’, Demands Charges

On June 14, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter penned an open letter on her website addressed to Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron asking him to bring charges against the police officers who killed Breonna Taylor inside her home. “Three months have passed — and zero arrests have been made, and no officers have been fired,” she wrote.

Nearly two weeks later, the family of Breonna Taylor has still not received justice for the 26-year-old emergency medical technician, who was an aspiring nurse. Now, Beyoncé’s mother Tina Lawson is calling out Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron for failing to bring charges against the police officers involved in the death of Taylor.

Mrs. Lawson took to Instagram and reposted a series of photos that were allegedly taken recently at Cameron’s engagement party. Frustrated and heartbroken to see Cameron living his best life while Taylor’s family is still grieving over the loss of their loved one; Lawson wrote: “I was shocked to learn that the attorney general for Kentucky is a 34-year-old black man. We are ASHAMED of you brother!!! Coonery at it ‘s finest! 💔💔”

Lawson later edited her caption and said;

“I was shocked to learn that the attorney general for Kentucky is a 34 year old black man. When Breonna’s Mother Tamika asked to speak with him , he had someone else call her. ! 💔💔 where are their masks?”

As we previously reported, Taylor, who survived the frontlines of a pandemic that disproportionately kills Black people, was was shot and killed by plainclothes officers conducting a “no-knock” search warrant at her apartment in March as part of a narcotics investigation. No drugs were found at the scene.

The city has since banned no-knock warrants. No charges have been brought against the officers involved in her death. One officer, Brett Hankison, was fired from the force last week. However, none of the officers involved have been arrested or charged for Taylor’s murder.
