Floyd Mayweather Open To Possible Comeback & Boxing Rematch With Conor McGregor
Floyd Mayweather has teased a possible comeback and says he’s open to a boxing rematch with MMA fighter and boxer Conor McGregor.
While speaking with Forbes, Mayweather confirms rumors of another exhibition boxing match in the works. He says, “We’re working on some things right now for Tokyo, whether 2020 or 2021.” When asked if he’d be interested in entering the octagon for an MMA match against McGregor, he says, “No [I won’t compete in MMA. I think just like how winning teams receive home-field advantage in the playoffs…you don’t fix what isn’t broken, and my record isn’t broken.”
On a boxing comeback and rematch with McGregor in the ring, he continues, “For now, I’m happily retired. You never know, but it would have to be worth it. Just like gambling right? Juice worth the squeeze no matter who the opponent is.” #Socialites, would you be here for this boxing comeback and rematch?
