Sean “Diddy” Combs is getting another break on his prison sentence.
According to Federal Bureau of Prisons records, the music mogul’s projected release date has been moved up to January 21, 2028—just weeks after his most recent date of February 5.
The latest update follows several previous changes. His release date was once listed as June 2028 before moving to February 20, then February 5, and now January 21.
Combs is serving a 50-month federal sentence after being convicted in 2025 on two counts of transporting people across state lines for prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
His time at FCI Fort Dix has included a reported altercation with another inmate and a brief stint in solitary confinement. If his release date continues to move forward, Combs could potentially be home in time for the 2027 holiday season.
