Socialites, join us in congratulating Sophie Brussaux who is officially off the market! The French artist, model, and mother to Drake’s eight-year-old son, Adonis, walked down the aisle this past weekend to marry professional Muay Thai fighter Efe Caliskan.
The couple kept their romance low-key for months, but the secret spilled when their public wedding registry made the rounds. The big day went down in North York, just outside of Toronto, making the French beauty a whole wife.
While the wedding itself is a beautiful milestone, fans on the internet immediately noticed the calendar math. Sophie and Efe appeared to have exchanged vows on Sunday, June 21, which just so happened to be Father’s Day. Given her highly publicized history with the Certified Lover Boy himself, social media was a bit shocked, but ultimately happy for the model.

Drake has been open about his journey into fatherhood since Pusha T famously exposed his secret child to the world, once reflecting on the situation by saying, “My son is the greatest thing to happen to me.” Whether the timing was intentional or not, it definitely had the internet talking.
Despite the internet’s messy theories, Sophie and Drake have actually been doing a great job at the whole co-parenting thing lately. They are regularly spotted together throwing massive birthday parties for Adonis and showing up for his school events in Toronto. The Champagne Papi even helped Sophie secure her Canadian work visa through non-profit connections a few years back, showing that there’s no real bad blood between them.
Her new husband, Efe Caliskan, is a 26-year-old combat sports athlete based out of Thornhill, Ontario, making him ten years younger than his new 36-year-old bride. The two are ready to build their new life together in the Greater Toronto Area.
No word yet on whether Drake actually snagged an invite to the ceremony or if he just spent his Father’s Day catching up on daddy duties, but congratulations are definitely in order for the newly wedded couple!
