Tekashi 6ix9ine Reportedly Sued by Miami Rapper Over “Stoopid” Track

More problems for Tekashi 6ix9ine! The rapper is currently being sued by a guy who claims he jacked his work.

According to the latest lawsuit obtained by The Blast, Miami artist Yung Gordon — real name Seth Gordon—has accused 6ix9ine, producer Tay Keith, and Create Music Group for using his vocals without proper authorization. Yung Gordon accuses 6ix9ine of taking his “radio drop” and using it on his song “Stoopid”, which was released in October 2018.

The suite notes that the radio drop “consists of nine seconds of music, written and performed by the Plaintiff, with the following lyrics: ‘Y’all already know, it be the boy Yung Gordon / You rockin’ with Take Money Promotions / Ay Take Money Promotions / Give ’em that new sh-t, no fool sh- t/ Oh Yeah, let’s go.’” It also states, “While the Drop has been removed from the ‘Stoopid’ track that is currently available on Spotify, upon information and belief it remains on all other versions of “Stoopid” that are currently streaming or available for sale.)”

Yung Gordon says he never gave permission to anyone from Tekashi’s camp to use his radio drop for the rapper’s song. The Blast reports that Gordon is now suing for an injunction prohibiting Tekashi from continuing to make money off his work plus unspecified damages.

Former US national security advisor Susan Rice has issued a stern warning to Snoop Dogg after he seemingly threatened journalist Gayle King. As we previously reported, many people have been at Gayle’s neck over her recent interview with WNBA star Lisa Leslie, where she brought up Kobe Bryant’s 2003 rape accusation.

Many people shared how disappointed they were of Gayle for bringing that sensitive topic up. But, Snoop Dogg wanted to make it very clear how he really felt about the interview and the CBS This Morning anchor. Snoop said in a video posted to IG,

“Gayle King, you’re out of pocket for that s—t. Way out of pocket. What do you gain from that? We expect more from you, Gayle. Don’t you hang out with Oprah [Winfrey]? Why are you all attacking us? We’re your people. You don’t come after Harvey Weinstein, asking those dumb a—s questions.” He continued: “I’m sick of y’all. I want to call you one, is it okay if I call her one? Funky doghead b****. How dare you try and tarnish my homeboy’s reputation, punk motherf*****. Respect the family and back off b****, before we come get you.”

Rice, who served President Barack Obama as national security advisor from 2013 to 2017 and as the US representative to the United Nations, shared a tweet directed to Snoop. She said,

“This is despicable. Gayle King is one of the most principled, fair and tough journalists alive. Snoop, back the **** off.”

Rice added,

First American Coronavirus Death Confirmed

According to the updated reports, a United States citizen has died from the coronavirus in Wuhan, China, in what appeared to be the first death of an American from the outbreak.

The New York Times confirmed the death of the American. There have only been a few details shared on this latest death. It was said that the person was around 60 years old and passed away at Jinyintan Hospital in Wuhan, according to the United States Embassy in Beijing. Two people familiar with the matter said the person was a woman who had underlying health conditions.

A spokesman for the embassy said, ”We offer our sincerest condolences to the family on their loss,” said a spokesman for the embassy. “Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we have no further comment.” As of Saturday morning US time, coronavirus has infected more than 34,500 people and killed more than 700.

According to Al-Jazeera, the number of fatalities has now surpassed the death toll from the SARS outbreak of 2003. It was said that at least 25 countries have now confirmed cases of coronavirus, including the US, where 12 people have been infected with the deadly virus.

Kobe Bryant’s Helicopter Was Only 100 Feet Away From Clear Skies Before Crash

The world is still in shock and mourning after Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven others sadly passed away in a helicopter crash in California.

Following the tragedy, investigators have been working hard to determine what caused the crash, and the NTSB has revealed that Bryant’s chopper was just 12 seconds from clear skies before it hit a hill in Calabasas.

Experienced Pilot Ara Zobayan was just 100 feet away from exiting the heavy fog layer when, instead of increasing the altitude, he turned left turn and crashed into the hillside at 180 mph.

“If you exit the bottom of the clouds at 4,000 feet per minute at that high speed, you’ve certainly lost control of the aircraft,” air safety consultant Kipp Lau said. “Once you break out of the clouds it’s clear. Everything lines up with the body.”

The investigators believe that Ara was trying to quickly move out of the fog with the high speed, however, the final left turn resulted in the fatal outcome.

“When he went into the clouds, he had a full on emergency,” pilot Mike Sagely had said.

The NTSB is still investigating to uncover the definitive cause.

Just months after Lori Harvey’s car accident/arrest, it looks like the model has gotten into another scary situation.

According to TMZ, someone tried to steal her 2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan at an apartment complex in Atlanta on Wednesday night. Apparently, one suspect snuck behind her in the parking lot as she was getting something from her trunk. The robber went to the driver’s seat and tried to take off, but Lori reportedly ran towards him and tried to stop him.

Eventually, she realized the car couldn’t go anywhere if she just walked away with the key fob, and so she did. However, according to the police report, someone else pulled up on Lori and stole her red duffel bag from the trunk, which only had clothes in them. The two suspects eventually fled off. Cops say Lori didn’t complain of any injuries and refused medical treatment.

TMZ notes that they reportedly made a clean getaway, Lori told police she was returning from Whole Foods, so cops are now glint to look to see if any surveillance cameras may have captured the suspects tailing her into the lot.

They reportedly made a clean getaway, but according to the report, they didn’t get much. The duffel bag was the only item stolen, and it only contained some clothing.

NTSB Reveals No Engine Failure In Kobe Bryant Crash, Cause STILL Unknown

The NTSB has revealed that their initial investigation into the Kobe Bryant helicopter crash showed no signs of engine failure.

The National Transportation Safety Board has released preliminary findings into the tragic crash that killed NBA icon Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven other loved-ones.

The findings show that the craft did not lose power before the crash and its engines were still working,

“Our investigators have already developed a substantial amount of evidence about the circumstances of this tragic crash,” said NTSB Chairman Robert L. Sumwalt. “And we are confident that we will be able to determine its cause as well as any factors that contributed to it so we can make safety recommendations to prevent accidents like this from occurring again.”

The actual wreckage was 127 feet from where the helicopter impacted and that is where the found the engines.

“Examination of the main and tail rotor assemblies found damage consistent with powered rotation at the time of impact. The initial point of impact consisted of highly fragmented cabin and cockpit debris,” the report said. The main wreckage was about 127 feet from the impact crater.

It will still take several months to determine the cause of the crash. Kobe’s wife shared earlier today that a memorial will be held for those who perished at the Staples Center on February 24th.

Viral Video Of H.S. Basketball Players Attacking Junior Varsity Coach Sparks Outrage

A disturbing clip has hit the internet and it apparently shows a bunch of teens beating up their high school coach.

Police out in New Jersey tell local news stations that a junior varsity coach was attacked in front of his own school, Malcolm X Shabazz H.S. in Newark on Tuesday at around 9 pm. In the video obtained CBS, shows the man being kicked and punched REPEATEDLY by at least four people. Cops say after they saw the footage they identified the attackers as members of the school’s basketball team. However, their names are not being shared since they’re all minors, but they have since been suspended.

While it’s unclear why this happened, police say the teens jumped the man after they got off the team bus upon returning from a road game. Cops say a criminal investigation is underway.

“Our detectives are investigating this incident to identify and to appropriately charge those individuals involved,” TMZ quotes Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose. “Those found to have participated in this senseless act of violence will face criminal charges.”

It was said that Newark mayor, Ras J. Baraka, also promised to punish for the individuals involved in the attack, saying, “The actions of these students will not be tolerated.”

It’s safe to say that Gayle King is not everyone’s favorite host right now after her recent interview with Lisa Leslie, where she asked the WNBA star if she thought Kobe Bryant’s legacy is “complicated” because of his 2003 rape accusation.

Many people were disappointed that a question like that even came from Gayle. She even spoke out shortly after saying she was blindsided by the way CBS edited the interview but, wanted to touch on that topic to get a good answer out and finally put a nail on it.

While some people seem to understand Gayle’s intentions, many people are just not here for what she has to say. In fact, people are so mad that they have been sending her death threats, according to Oprah.

The actress and host went on the Hoda and Jenna show where she talked about how Gayle is dealing with all the backlash. An emotional Oprah said Gayle hasn’t slept in two days and because of the death threats, she has to beef up security.

There was a whole bunch of singing, shaking, and gyrating during J Lo and Shakira’s big Super Bowl halftime show. While most people loved it, apparently, it was too much for some folks to handle.

Social Media Reacts To J Lo & Shakira’s Epic Super Bowl Performance

According to Fox8 Cleveland, Dave Daubenmire, a former central Ohio high school football coach turned online Christian talk show host, and a pastor, is furious over their spicy performance. He told the news channel that he was so upset that he now wants to sue the NFL along with their major sponsors!

“I was appalled at what I saw — what I thought was a porn show — at halftime during the Super Bowl,” said Daubenmire. He went on to explain why he’s so triggered, “My greatest complaint isn’t the halftime show itself. It’s the fact that the NFL gave no warning. Here we are watching a football game, next thing you know, a porn show breaks out,” he said.

Daubenmire was asked about people’s first amendment rights, and he claimed that he isn’t arguing with that. He says instead,

“It’s not about me, it’s about the innocent children. Maybe there wasn’t a parent in the room to change the channel.”

Daubenmire says he has already met with an attorney and plans to move forward with his suit against the NFL.

“Put a warning up there, cautioning parents that some of the content you might see might not be suitable for young children. I personally resent the fact that they invaded the privacy of my home with stuff I would never look at it if I had a choice,” Fox8 quotes Daubenmire.

We’ve seen all the negative feedback Gabrielle Union had received after she bravely spoke out about the “toxic culture” she experienced while being apart of the NBC family for America’s Got Talent. While some people even tried to dismiss her claims and actually believed she got fired from the show because of their lack of interest for the actress, she still managed to push through all the critics and even met with NBC for a productive meeting in hopes of seeing “real change.”

As we previously reported, fellow actor and AGT host Terry Crews spoke out to defend the network and the show, saying he never experienced such a thing while working. He caught major heat for his comments and it now appears that he wasn’t the only one. According to Page Six, Heidi Klum says she also received backlash for defending AGT amid Gabrielle Union‘s controversial firing. She told the news site,

“A lot of people got mad at me,” Klum told Page Six. “I was called, for example, ‘a white woman.’” Klum went on to explain that although it is “important for everyone to speak their truth,” her experience with AGT was just different.

“I think it is important for everyone to speak their truth. I think that when there is a story, it should be told. I had a different story,” Klum told Page Six.

Klum said something similar last month at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour when she was asked about Union’s reported claims of a toxic work environment.

“I can’t speak for her. I didn’t experience the same thing. To me, everyone treats you with the utmost respect. I’ve never seen anything that was weird or hurtful.”

CBS On Gayle King Interview Backlash: ‘We Are Addressing The Internal Process That Led To This’

It’s been a pretty rough week for Gayle King following her interview with WNBA Star Lisa Leslie. As we previously reported, the CBS This Morning sat down with Leslie to look back on her friendship with Kobe Bryant who sadly passed died in a helicopter crash last month. During the interview, Gayle brought up his old 2003 rape case which was eventually dismissed.

Many people found Gayle’s move distasteful, disrespectful and uncalled for. The host even agreed in a follow-up video that she is also “mortified” and “embarrassed” because of how the interview was edited. CBS has now released a statement saying that they “addressing this.”

“Gayle conducted a thoughtful, wide-ranging interview with Lisa Leslie about the legacy of Kobe Bryant. An excerpt was posted that did not reflect the nature and tone of the full interview. We are addressing the internal process that led to this and changes have already been made.”

Following the big wave of backlash, Gayle still appeared on the morning show even despite the new critics which include Snoop Dogg and LeBron James.

Nick Gordon’s Cause of Death Revealed

The cause of death for Nick Gordon has been revealed.

According to an autopsy report, Gordon, the former boyfriend of deceased pop icon Whitney Houston’s late daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, — died of heroin toxicity. His manner of death is listed as accidental.

As we previously reported, Nick died at age 30 on New Year’s Day. He was administered Narcan and hospitalized for seven hours prior to being declared dead. At the time or his passing, Joe Habachy, Gordon’s attorney, told E! News:

“My heart is heavy today after learning that my long time client Nick Gordon died at the young age of thirty,” Joe Habachy, said. “While I cannot speak to the specific circumstances of his death, I can say that it’s been truly heartbreaking to have witnessed firsthand the total devastation that drug addiction has wreaked upon a group of young friends, all of whom were loved and had immense potential. Despite all of the incredible challenges Nick faced over the last few years, I can honestly say that he worked hard to hold his head up and stay sober and that he genuinely wanted a happy, healthy life with his family more than anything else. My heart goes out to the family and friends Nick leaves behind and to any other families dealing with the losses and heartache caused by drugs.”

Chinese Doctor Who Warned Of Coronavirus Outbreak Is In “Critical Condition”

Li Wenliang, the 34-year-old Chinese doctor who tried to warn others about the Wuhan coronavirus is reported to be critically ill from the infection.

Earlier reports stated that Wenliang had died today but The Wuhan City Central Hospital clarified those reports on its official account on the Chinese social media site, Weibo. They said that they were still trying to save the doctor, Li Wenliang, and confirmed he was still alive but is in critical condition.

“Li Wenliang is currently in critical condition,” the Global Times claimed in the early hours of Friday, local time.

“His heart reportedly stopped beating at around 21:30. He was then given treatment with ECMO (extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation),” it added, according to The Guardian.

As of Wednesday evening the death toll from the virus went up to 564 — virtually all of them in mainland China — with more than 28,000 others infected.
