Oprah Says Gayle King Is Not Doing Well After Receiving Death Threats Over Interview About Kobe Bryant
It’s safe to say that Gayle King is not everyone’s favorite host right now after her recent interview with Lisa Leslie, where she asked the WNBA star if she thought Kobe Bryant’s legacy is “complicated” because of his 2003 rape accusation.

Many people were disappointed that a question like that even came from Gayle. She even spoke out shortly after saying she was blindsided by the way CBS edited the interview but, wanted to touch on that topic to get a good answer out and finally put a nail on it.
While some people seem to understand Gayle’s intentions, many people are just not here for what she has to say. In fact, people are so mad that they have been sending her death threats, according to Oprah.
The actress and host went on the Hoda and Jenna show where she talked about how Gayle is dealing with all the backlash. An emotional Oprah said Gayle hasn’t slept in two days and because of the death threats, she has to beef up security.
