A Bronx cashier woman feared for her life after being attacked by a mother and her daughters during a heated dispute on Sunday. According to reports, Lisbel Rodriguez Luna was ambushed by the unidentified woman, who cops are still looking for, at the Food Universe in Fordham Manor over an argument she had with the cashier a week prior when the woman is alleged to have skipped a queue to recycle her bottles.
When Luna called her attacker out about it, the woman told her that she needed to mind her business and “better just give me my money.” Per the New York Post, Luna recalled the woman saying that if she wasn’t going to receive her money, she’d bring her daughters to “kick your a**.” Well, it turns out that the woman kept her word because when she returned to the grocery store on Sunday, she had her daughters in tow, ready to fight.

CCTV footage from inside the store show grabbing Luna by her hair and beating her at the register while her colleagues were trying to separate their co-worker from the fight. In an interview with The Post, Luna said she has been terrified to return to work since her attackers are still on the loose, but stressed that staying at home wasn’t an option because she needs the money. “I have to work. I need money. I need my job. I don’t know what else I can do.”
A week before the beatdown occurred, Luna called the mother out when she decided to skip the queue to hand in her ticket from her recyclables, which she would earn money for at the cashier. But when she confronted the woman about pushing in front of others who had already been waiting for their turn, the accuser became aggravated and allegedly began to make a series of threats, one of which included killing Luna.
“There were two other women on line and she came around and handed me the ticket and I asked her, I said, ‘Miss, is it your turn? Did she give you her turn,’ I asked pointing to the woman who was waiting in line,” she recounted.
“She said, ‘b**ch, that’s not your business. You better just give me my money.’ I’m going to kick your a**. I’m going to f***ing kill you. I’m going to bring my daughters and we’re all going to kick your a**!’” Luna didn’t want the argument to escalate, so she handed the woman her $15, hoping that the situation would have been resolved at that point.
When the woman returned on Sunday, one of the store managers had tried to calm her down because it supposedly already looked as if she had a motive when she arrived in a rather hostile manner. Cops are investigating the surveillance footage as they continue to try and locate the mother and her daughters for the brutal attack in the Bronx over the weekend.
