The stars were out and shining bright for the 6th annual Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards, and you already know Love Island baddie Huda Mustafa pulled up looking absolutely gorgeous. Rocking a sleek black gown, the reality-star-turned-musician stopped by to chop it up about her budding music career, those viral Ariana Grande comparisons, and the infamous Lamborghini incident that had the internet in a chokehold.
Fresh off the release of her very first single, “Bad Girls,” Huda couldn’t hide her excitement about transitioning from the villa to the recording studio.
She admitted that making music has been a lifelong dream, saying,
“It’s amazing. It’s surreal and I think that it’s like been a long time coming. Something I’ve like trained for since I was a little girl. So I’m just excited to finally like showcase my talent and have more come out soon.”
Of course, with a new track out, social media has been doing what it does best, comparing her vocal styling and aesthetics to pop powerhouse Ariana Grande. When asked if she’d ever down for a collab with Ari, Huda didn’t stutter.
“Oh, I would love doing an Ari collab. Why would I not? I don’t think I’m her, but I would love an Ari collab,” she laughed. When pointed out that fans are specifically noticing similarities in their vocal runs, Huda took the compliment in stride. “I’m flattered, she’s an icon. So, I’m flattered girl,” she added.

When the conversation shifted to the current season of Love Island, Huda keeping it real, she has been way too booked and busy to keep up with the villa drama.
“I haven’t seen it,” she confessed, explaining that she’s been entirely focused on her bag. “I’ve been busy, I’ve been working, I have the whole thing.”
But the real highlight of the interview came when Huda was reminded of her recent, highly-publicized toy Lamborghini crash with Playboy Max that was captured on stream.
Huda burst into laughter before saying, “Girl, oh my god, you saw that? Girl, I was having a time. I was having a time, it was so fun,” she joked. While she made sure to jokingly clarify, “Listen, I didn’t say I was a good driver, okay? Actually, I didn’t crash it, let’s start there,” she was just glad everyone walked away safe and sound.
From reality TV to potentially dominating the charts, Huda Mustafa is proving she’s much more than just a pretty face from a dating show. Stay tuned, because it looks like this is just the beginning for the rising star!
