Medical Examiner Confirms Body Discovered In Orlando To Be Miya Marcano
A medical examiner has confirmed that the body believed to be missing 19-year-old Miya Marcano that was found in a wooded area on Saturday morning has been positively identified as the missing student.
The Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the remains belonging to Marcano. As of now her cause of death has not been revealed. She was found in a wooded area at the Tymber Skan complexes, which is known for crime.

As we reported, Marcano was last seen around 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24, at the Arden Villas Apartments near the University of Central Florida. While it was not clear when she was reported missing, her father told News 6 on Monday that his daughter was supposed to fly to Fort Lauderdale that day.
Investigators announced days after her disappearance that Armando Caballero, a person of interest, was found dead from an apparent suicide. He was found at a Seminole County apartment complex. Caballero was a maintenance worker at Arden Villas since June, and had made numerous unwanted advances towards Marcano while she lived at the complex.
Now make it a law: maintenance workers will no longer have ALL DAY access to keys of other residents. It shouldn’t be this easy for a stranger to gain access into your home.
