While releasing a new album titled, ‘The Gentleman’s Club,’ YG shares a new song called “Tiffany,” on which he raps about the cautionary tale of a transgender woman revealing her identity right before having sex with a straight man.

On the track, YG tells a story about a woman named “Tiffany” and a man named “Chris.” He begins by explaining how the two met at the club.

YG raps, “Tiff came to the table, asked for a drink. Chris was like, ‘You a baddie, sh*t, what’s good with me?’ They went shot after shot as he lit the tree. Drinkin’ like they ain’t tryna have memory.” As YG continues to rap the story, he says Tiffany started “poppin’ a**” to some Future. Chris thought, “I gotta get her home.” After Cardi B came on, Tiffany “started showin’ thong.,” and had “her tongue out, in that mode.”

He raps, “Chris in that zone, he was tryna score.” However, his “homies wasn’t ready.” So, they all stayed and kept drinking and smoking. While Tiffany thought “I found my bae,” another woman, whom she and Chris both knew, walked up. YG raps, “She looked at Chris, like, ‘Don’t do it.’”

Tiffany ends up telling Chris she’s ready to leave with him. Things quickly went left as Tiffany and the other woman start fighting. One of Chris’ homies tries to tell him the second woman was trying to tell him something. But the friend didn’t know exactly what. Chris ends up calling for Tiffany so they can leave. Tiffany gets in Chris’ car, they don’t speak and she falls asleep.

YG Raps About Straight Man Wanting To Harm Transgender Woman After Learning Her Identity Before Sex

Meanwhile, YG raps, “He thinkin’ how he finna beat them cheeks, she ain’t know she met a freak with some technique.” Once inside Chris’ spot, they start kissing and touching. But just as they remove their clothes, Tiffany makes a confession. She discloses her identity, “I’m a trans woman.”

As YG stops rapping, a reenactment plays. It showcases the real-life dangers transgender women face, especially when dating straight men and revealing their identifies. Part 2 of the song plays and YG raps about the violence that ensues.

Chris assaults Tiffany for leading him on up until having intercourse. YG raps:

“F**ked up his jaw, teeth missing and all. F**ker, aw, f**k you pleadin’, f**k me seein’ Allah. F**k me bein’ the reason you’ll be eatin’ out a straw. I’m tryna be the reason you ain’t breathin’ at all. Yeah, I gotta be the reason you ain’t breathin’ at all… Master manipulator, actin’ like a h*e. You should’ve let me know, the disrespect is bold. You really let me— I was takin’ off my clothes. I cannot live with this sh*t, you gotta go. Then he grabbed the Glock four-fifth. Put in the clip, cocked it, heard it click. Point it to her face, then everything switched. He like, ‘Man, I can’t do this to a b*tch.'”

YG raps and asks, “What would you do if you was Chris?” In the next verse, rYG raps:

“He like, ‘B*tch, I should kill you… I don’t even know who the real you. That’s why I’m finna drill you, heart full of hate. Anything you wanna say before I let this Glock spray?’ They said, ‘See, this the reason I ain’t say sh*t I’m scared of the violence, I don’t know how you was gon’ take it. I know it ain’t an excuse, I know it ain’t gon’ change sh*t. This situation the strangest, but let me explain it. I struggle with identity and fear bein’ judged. The truth never set you free, I knew in the end, it’s some blood. My jaw f**ked up and you got me layin’ in this mud. I’m they, I’m them, not a girl, not a stud. I just wanna be loved, you pointin’ your gun got me nervous. Selfish of me, I knew I was self-serving. But let me go, I believe in God, I’m worth it. Please don’t do it, I’m not perfect.'”
