The 28-year-old year woman was reported missing on Feb. 14 after her sister contacted police with concerns that she didn’t see her since the beginning of the month. According to TOO FAB, an officer said the victim was last seen on Feb. 5 and noted that her 45-year-old mother allegedly parked her car at a nearby gas station and walked away. A gas station employee noticed the vehicle and called in a tow company after assuming the car was abandoned. King County investigators said the victim was found in serious condition and she was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Skyway Tow owner Bonafacio said in a statement that the victim was found by one of his drivers who said she was covered in clothes and other items.

“We sent one of our drivers out, he unlocked the car and had to go through it. She was laying in the back seat and had a bunch of clothes and stuff on top of her. The driver that found her is really excited that he was able to find her. Ofttimes with towing companies, you don’t get to be a hero very often.”
