Woman Puts Raccoon In Headlock After Getting Attacked While Hanging Christmas Lights
The holidays are the most joyful time of the year, but, they can also come with some danger.
One Massachusetts woman had quite the ordeal with a rabid Raccoon that pounced on her while she attempted to hang Christmas lights.
“I thought I was going to die,” said Massachusetts woman Donna Sanginario, said Boston News WHDH.
Sanginario took to Facebook to share her injuries from the attack. The 70-year-old woman detailed that she heard a “strange noise coming from the street.”
“I turned around to see what the noise was and I was staring at a huge raccoon about 10 feet away,” Sanginario added. “Before I could do anything it jumped at me. Worst nightmare of my life. Both me and the raccoon were screaming so loud.”
“As I was screaming for help he fell off my arm but jumped right back on me to continue to attack,” Sanginario continued. “After somehow tumbling to the ground I got him in a headlock and wouldn’t let go. As he was biting me I could hear bones breaking in his neck.”
However, once she let go of the little pest, he got up and walked away. Following an emergency room visit, she got a rabies shot and will now stay protected in the yard.
Disclaimer: Not all raccoons are rabid, only the ones who seem disorientated, wobble, and have discharge from their eyes, nose, and mouth.
The proper term is disoriented. The least a professional writer can do is use a dictionary.
