A Florida woman was arrested after she allegedly texted 911 to ask for some advice about a divorce.

According to FOX 10 Pheonix, Sylvia Shumaker of Largo,68, was arrested Friday after she misused the 911 system to ask for advice about divorce. Authorities reported that Shumaker texted the dispatcher six times from her cell phone and arrived at her home to respond to a non-criminal complaint about her husband. Shumaker continued to text 911 several times and allowed an officer to look at her messages.

The arrest affidavit said she was told “multiple times it was not a 911 matter” when she asked for advice about a divorce.

Police added that Shumaker appeared to be intoxicated and told them that 911 “texted her first. She was charged with misuse of the 911 system and a court date is currently pending.
