Hollywood Unlocked was in the building for a sit down with “Good Place” star, William Jackson Harper who portrays Chidi Anagonye on the hit comedy.

Jackson shed light on the casting of his role and the industry’s inclusivity of all demographics. He also gave us some insight on what to expect for the final episode that is set to air on Thursday following four successful seasons.

Creator Michael Schur said that four seasons “was the right lifespan.”

“At times over the past few years we’ve been tempted to go beyond four seasons, but mostly because making this show is a rare, creatively fulfilling joy, and at the end of the day, we don’t want to tread water just because the water is so warm and pleasant,” he wrote on Twitter in June.

The series follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell), who wakes up in the afterlife and is introduced by Michael (Ted Danson) to “the Good Place”, a Heaven-like utopia that he designed, as a reward for her good life. However, Eleanor knows it’s a mistake!
