D.C. Shooting Leaves Multiple People Injured, Including Police Officer

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) reacted to a call about a shooting in Washington, D.C. According to Fox News, on Sunday night multiple people we’re injured, including a police officer.

The MPD announced the shooting took place on 14th and U Street, according to a tweet from the police agency.

“MPD is responding to the area of 14th and U Street, NW, for a shooting incident in which multiple people have been shot, including an MPD officer,” the tweet read.

It was not immediately clear how many people were injured, and no further details were immediately available.
