[UPDATE] Man Who Brutally Attacked Atlanta Woman After Meeting On Dating App Hinge Is Arrested
As we reported earlier, last week an Atlanta woman was brutally attacked by a man she met on the dating app Hinge. We now update that the suspect has been arrested in New York as of Tuesday (Nov. 17).
Recently, Brittany Correri shared the horrific story with WSB-TV, where she appeared with bruised lips and an aching body. Speaking with the news channel, Correri explains how her first date with a man identified as Benjamin “Ben” Fancher started off smoothly, but turned into a complete nightmare.

Correri shares that before heading out for the night, Ben met her friends and family, and after the clock struck midnight and the nightclub let out, things became violent. Coreri says, “He started beating me in my head, punching me everywhere – my forehead, my temples, my cheeks, jaws, throat, my arms, my back. He was just telling me that the date cost too much, that I’m not worth that.” She says he then pulled a gun on her with intentions of killing her, but luckily a security guard witnessed the attack and came to her rescue. Fancher has since been arrested on aggravated assault, false imprisonment and kidnapping charges.
