Tia Kemp is weighing in after Jazzma Kendrick alleged Rick Ross abused her and busted her lip, causing her to leave him. As we previously shared, Kendrick took to her Instagram Story late Saturday evening (September 26) and made the allegations.
During her split announcement, she alleged Rozay was physically abusive towards her and she shared graphic photos of the alleged incidents. While taking to her Instagram Story, Kendrick first shared a photo of herself. Within the next hour, she sent another post and it showed someone DM’ing her about the photo. They wrote, “I’m seeing what Rick is seeing. You’re so gorgeous.”
Over the screenshot of the DM, Kendrick alleged, “He saw a punching bag.” In the next post, she shared a close-up image of her face. She wrote, “The day Rick busted my lip and the day I left.” In another post, she continued to show another angle of her injury. She flipped up her lip to reveal a large, red wound inside. Over the photo, she wrote:
“I don’t know a lot of things, but I do know that a man that puts his hands on me, is a man that never loved me and never will.”
In one final post, Kendrick wrote, “It’s always good until lit isn’t. If a man hits you one time, he will do it again. Don’t give him the opportunity. Value your life and leave ❤️🙏🏾.”
Prior to Kendrick’s split announcement, she and Rick Ross had been on/off since last year. The two first made headlines around early 2025. By August 2025, the pair went viral as Rozay showed moments of public displays of affection with this then-mysterious boo.
By September 2025, the rumors and confirmations of a split had surfaced. Kendrick then confirmed they were no longer together as fans questioned their status and noticed they unfollowed each other.
By June 2026, the two had rekindled their romance. They were spotted together at public outings, like the BET Awards, and they were posting each other on their social media pages. However, by late September 2026, the two would again split — as announced by Kendrick, with coupled abuse allegations.

While weighing in on the drama, Rick Ross’ ex-girlfriend and child’s mother Tia Kemp defended him. She went live on TikTok and said she was planning to pull up on Rozay to come see what’s going on. During her announcement, she also blasted him and told him about messing with certain type of women.
Tia Kemp proceeded to then suggest that Jazzma Kendrick “punched herself,” insisting that Rick Ross hasn’t allegedly put hands on anyone, namely herself, “since 2006.” Kemp claimed the rapper is afraid to abuse anyone for fear of being sued and losing his fortunes. Kemp also claimed that if Kendrick sues Ross, she won’t get anything, but some Wingstop wings.
