The Family Of Pablo Escobar Is Suing 2 Chainz for Over $10 Million
Well, this is not good… 2 Chainz has been hit with a big lawsuit for his restaurants in Atlanta.
According to TMZ, Pablo Escobar’s family company, Escobar Inc., is suing the rapper for at least $10 million over the name of his food spots: Escobar Restaurant and Tapas.

In documents obtained by the news site, they’re reportedly furious that 2 Chainz slapped the family name across his popular ATL stores and branded it on their websites and social media along with the merch. Escobar Inc. says it owns the trademark and claims 2 Chainz is using the name to generate traffic and sales, TMZ reports.

The company pointed out that 2 Chainz has Escobar’s likeness painted inside one of his joints. They also highlight that the menu featuring “Escobar Crab Cakes.” Now because of all this branding, Escobar Inc. wants the 8-figure damages, minimum, plus an injunction blocking the use of the name and likeness at the restaurants.
The rappers’ stores have been out for a while now so it’s not clear why the Escobar family has decided to take legal action now.
