The MMA world decided to set up a whole octagon on the South Lawn of the White House on Sunday night for “UFC Freedom 250.” Now, you’d think winning the big fight on that kind of stage would make a man focus on his own bag. Instead, Josh Hokit decided to use his post-fight microphone to take a completely unprovoked swipe at the Forever First Lady, Michelle Obama.
Hokit had just secured a technical knockout victory over veteran fighter Derrick Lewis. It should have been a moment for him to talk about his training or his 10-0 record. But as soon as Joe Rogan handed him the mic, Hokit showed everybody exactly how classless he is. After kissing up to Donald Trump for hosting the event, Hokit yelled into the microphone: “Michelle Obama is a man, am I right, America?”
The moment was completely unecessary and extremely random to disrespect a Black woman who represents nothing but elegance, intellect, and pure grace. What’s even more pathetic is that Joe Rogan barely blinked, just moving right along with, “Ladies and gentlemen, Josh Hokit,” like he didn’t just let a grown man act like a complete fool on national television.

The internet immediately started dragging him, and honestly, he deserves every bit of it.
Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III took to X to voice what we were all thinking, pointing out how tragic it is that Hokit won the biggest fight of his life at the White House and chose to finish his interview by attacking Michelle Obama for absolutely no reason.
Representative Melanie Stansbury didn’t hold back either, clocking Hokit for his previous embarrassing moments by posting: “OK, so let me get this straight… the dude who puked on himself live on TV during his weigh-in, is hurling insults at the former first lady now? Disgusting.”
Griffin added that “it takes a really small man to use his biggest moment to attack a woman by calling her a man.”
But of course, the toxicity didn’t stop in the cage. The next morning, Donald Trump hopped on Truth Social to praise the event, specifically shouting out a list of fighters that included Josh Hokit, calling them all “unbelievable.” No condemnation of the blatant disrespect. No accountability.
Michelle Obama who’s known for being completely unbothered and lightyears out Holkit’s league, has not yet reacted to this comment.
