The streamer, born Maxwell Elliot Dent, saw his chat bringing up the fact he deleted his X community. He said, “I’mma tell the full story.”

PBM said he was out shopping after dropping his new music video and song, “Thong Song.” He said he’s super proud of the “fun” song, which he dubs “one of his favorite songs ever made,” and it “makes him feel good.” PBM said  he wanted to communicate with his fans on X (formerly Twitter).

However, he previously deleted the app from his phone. So, he re-downloaded it and immediately went straight to the community section. He said he was quickly hit with all kinds of criticism. He said, “Y’all not f***ing with me.”

While he claimed he doesn’t care how the world sees him — that he’s only doing things for himself and his family — he backtracked. He began:

“I create and do this sh*t for people that care about me. I care about them more. That’s what I do this sh*t for. To make y’all proud. I don’t give a f**k about the rest of the world. The rest of the world, they will become fans eventually, supporters eventually, part of the community eventually. And if they don’t, they don’t. I don’t do it to appease them…

When I go on there and see that there’s negative energy and n***as feeling like they can control my life, and just speak on everything that I got going on…I’m not tolerating that.

I have something in my brain where I feel like y’all have a certain type of word in my brain that matters. Like, I care about what y’all say too much. Way too much. The Twitter comments have been apart of streams for the past 2 years. Y’all know how much I loved that sh*t when it started. But, he comm became a game where n***as is so toxic and small-minded, they won’t let me be myself. N***as just won’t let me rock. That type of sh*t bleeds into the Twitch chat. It bleeds into everywhere. N***as just being negative…”
