Looks like A 25-year-old Texas mom of two is facing charges after fatally stabbing her fiancé — before attempting to stitch up his knife wounds, according to police.

Liliana Cervantes, 25, was taken into custody on Monday in connection with killing 32-year-old Nathan Freeman at the couple’s Houston apartment on March 20.

Officers who responded to the call and showed up to the scene found Cervantes trying to sew up her injured fiancé, authorities said. He was pronounced dead by paramedics. Cervantes’ 4-year-old child from a previous relationship and a 6-month-old daughter she shared with Freeman were present in the apartment at the time of the killing.

Freeman’s mother, Tessa Freeman, told ABC13 that her son and Cervantes met through Facebook two years ago and later got engaged.

According to the mom, Cervantes had already picked out a dress for her and Freeman’s wedding set for the fall.

“My husband and I went to visit them for Thanksgiving, and they seemed perfectly happy. We had dinner with her parents and it was great,” she said.

Police have not revealed a motive behind the stabbing.

In her probable cause appearance Tuesday, it was alleged that Cervantes told police she blacked out during the stabbing.

She came to after having water splashed on her, but then blacked out a second time, a court officer said.

“The next thing she remembers (is) trying to stitch the complainant up and calling 911,” the court heard.

Records stated that police seized a butcher knife and another unspecified sharp object from the couple’s bloodstained apartment.

An autopsy showed that Freeman sustained three stab wounds, including one to the chest. Cervantes has been ordered jailed on $150,000 bond. Her baby and toddler are not staying with her family.
