In another significant move, Taylor Swift, the megastar, has made a major donation to support relief efforts for Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
The singer donated $5 million to Feeding America, a national food bank organization. This big contribution came just two weeks after Hurricane Helene tore through Florida as a deadly Category 4 storm, causing catastrophic flooding and resulting in more than 230 fatalities. The timing of this donation is particularly crucial for those in need following Wednesday’s storm, Hurricane Milton, which has left 3 million people without power.
In a statement posted to the organization’s Instagram page, Feeding America CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot expressed that they are “incredibly grateful” for the superstar’s donation towards hurricane relief efforts.
“This contribution will help communities rebuild and recover, providing essential food, clean water, and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms,” the statement read. “Together, we can make a real impact in supporting families as they navigate the challenges ahead.”
Babineaux-Fontenot further thanked the entertainer for “standing with us in the movement to end hunger and for helping communities in need.”
Thank you, @taylorswift13, for standing with us in the movement to end hunger and helping communities in need in the wake of #HurricaneHelene and #HurricaneMilton.

He stated, “Keep those impacted by these storms in your prayers, look out for your neighbors, and continue to help out anyway you’re able. Stay safe, and stay strong Florida,” Brady wrote on social media.
