It was previously reported that “Wild ‘N Out” star Bobb’e J. Thompson was recently arrested after a “stolen gun was found in his luggage at LAX.

Law enforcement reportedly told TMZ that Thompson was going through security at LAX when a Glock firearm was found in his baggage. The news site noted that the gun was loaded but did not have a round in the chamber. It was also said that Thompson, who’s known for his roles on “That’s So Raven, “ 30 Rock” and “House of Payne,” was booked for felony possession of a stolen firearm. He was released after posting a $35,000 bond.

Thompson is now speaking out to set the record straight. He confirmed that he was arrested at the airport after security found a gun in his bag but noted that it was not stolen! Thompson explained that the gun “was in a checked bag and I was already on the plane wen they found it … the problem is, I’m a felon and was in possession of a firearm. That’s why I was arrested.“

Thompson let us know that he didn’t want to speak much on the situation as the investigation is still ongoing.
