The decision was made by prosecutors at a Los Angeles court after new documentation revealed that the case falls outside of the statute of limitations as it expired after 10 years. According to TMZ, the couple’s accuser filed a police report earlier this year, claiming the couple drugged and sexually assaulted her after meeting at a club earlier that year.

The couple was previously accused of sexually assaulting another woman in Las Vegas in 2010 but the case had a similar outcome due to the statute of limitations.

However, the couple and their pal Shekinah are facing more legal trouble after Sabrina Peterson filed a lawsuit claiming the couple didn’t apologize to her for their actions towards her.

“This was in no way a statement on the merit of my lawsuit, but instead was an attempt to end what has been a complete and utter nightmare for me on a personal, professional, and emotional level. Their failure to set the record straight has left me with this lawsuit as the only means by which to clear my name of the salacious allegation that originated with the Harrises, and which they caused to be published online to millions of people,” she told Spectrum News.
