Social Media Sends Love & Prayers To Keyshia Cole And Her Family Following News Of Her Mother Frankie Lons’ Passing
This Monday morning, fans have been sending prayers to singer Keyshia Cole and her family all over social media following the heartbreaking news about her mother, Frankie Lons.
As it was previously reported, members of the family took to Instagram to share that she died over the weekend. According to TMZ, Frankie was celebrating her 61st birthday in Oakland when she passed away. The R&B singer’s brother, Sam, told the news site that Frankie overdosed at her Oakland home after taking drugs while partying; relapsing following a long, hard-fought journey to sobriety.
Frankie Lons, was known by many for being the mother of famed R&B songstress Keyshia Cole, after appearing on Cole’s reality TV show. Becoming a fan favorite, Frankie wound up earning her own spin-off series entitled, Frankie & Neffe, alongside Cole’s sister Neffeteria Pugh.
