Six Flags Still Charging Season Pass Holders Amid COVID-19 Crisis
Despite shuttering its theme park doors amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, California’s Six Flags has continued charging its season pass holders.
On March 13, the amusement park announced it was closing due to the virus breakout. On March 30, the note was sent to all pass holders, stating they’d continue collecting on their $30/month plans per pass, plus.

Instead of rescinding payments, like Disneyland did after backlash for still pulling payments themselves, Six Flags announced they’d extend the dates on pass holders’ accounts; taking prepaid ticket holders to the end of the 2020 season, and adding back the days the park is closed for current 2020 members.
In addition, current 2020 holders will also received one additional month for each month the park is closed, plus a free membership upgrade for the rest of the year.

Also in their statement, the park shares that they look to possibly open in mid-May, or “as soon as possible thereafter;” this should governments extend coronavirus quarantine.
