Sharon Osbourne and several family members have contracted Covid after tending to Ozzy Osbourne, who was diagnosed with the virus last week. The former America’s Got Talent judge shared the news on Monday’s episode of Sharon’s British news show The Talk, which she was forced to stop taping after learning about her husband’s health condition back in Los Angeles. Last week, the 69-year-old said she was leaving London to take care of Ozzy, who is also battling Parkinson’s disease, but now it appears she has also been infected with the bug.
After sharing the news of her positive test during a video call with her co-star Jeremy Kyle, Sharon went on to say, “My daughter Kelly has it, and I have it, and the entire household has it.” Despite her condition, however, she expressed that Ozzy was feeling much better, adding that his coughing had stopped and his temperature levels had stabilized.

It was just last week when Sharon announced she’d be leaving her news show, which had only premiered last Monday, to care for Ozzy upon learning he had been diagnosed with Covid — and the mother-of-three didn’t even hesitate to fly back to Los Angeles just so that she can be with her partner, who has already battled several health struggles over the years.
Sharon indicated her worries during an interview with The Sun, saying that she was “very worried” about the Black Sabbath star, particularly because before she returned to the UK to launch her news program, she had gone above and beyond in making sure Ozzy would not catch the coronavirus because of how poor his health had already been at the start of the pandemic.
“We’ve gone two years without him catching Covid and it’s just Ozzy’s luck it would be now,” she shared. “I can’t believe my luck. I’m missing the show and I’ve only been there three days. I can’t believe it. Three days and I’m missing the show but I will be back. I know I will.”

She assured her fans and viewers of The Talk that her time in California wouldn’t be longer than a week before returning to the UK and continuing hosting her show. But now that the former reality star has also been diagnosed with Covid, it’s unlikely she’ll be flying back until her test results appear negative.
This is the second time Sharon had contracted the virus, having first announced the same outcome in December 2020 when she was admitted to the hospital after coming down with several Covid-related symptoms. As of now, it remains unclear when Sharon will get back to hosting The Talk, but her return is already being ruled out for this week — at least until she’s in the clear with regards to her positive test result.
