Reality star Shamar McCoy was taken into custody on a misdemeanor battery charge following allegations that he and his boyfriend jumped a man, TMZ reports.
According to court filings and online records, Shamar was booked this past Monday regarding an alleged incident from November 2024. He was released just hours later after posting a $2,000 bond.

The documents allege that Shamar and his partner, Alexander Green, rolled up to the home of a man named Quentin McDowell after Alexander and Quentin got into a heated exchange over the phone. Quentin reported to police that Shamar and Alexander arrived with with his crew. He claims that Alexander assaulted him, striking him in the face with a closed fist multiple times before taking him to the ground and kicking him.
Furthermore, Quentin alleged that Alexander kept kicking him while he was down. The victim stated that the entire ordeal was captured on video and posted to Instagram, which he presented to law enforcement as evidence.
Police noted that another witness corroborated the report, stating that Shamar also kicked Quentin in the head before he, Alexander, and the rest of their group fled the scene in a burgundy Jaguar SUV.
