When you hear the name Sidney Starr, you already know a wild headline is attached—but this latest one completely breaks the scale. According to local reports coming straight out of the Hapeville Police Department, Starr was locked up on Sunday after being accused of a horrific crime involving a juvenile.
The whole situation went down on Sunday at an Embassy Suites hotel right off International Boulevard. Police rolled up on the scene following a call about an alleged incident involving a juvenile. Before anyone even had time to log onto Twitter to figure out what was happening, jail records showed that Starr, who is trans and legal name is Sidney Favors, was booked straight into the Fulton County Jail.
The charges attached to her name are heavy, serious. Investigators locked her in with multiple felonies, including aggravated child molestation, statutory sexual battery against someone under 16, and sodomy. Naturally, because a minor is involved, officials are keeping things locked tight.
However, the Hapeville police made it clear that they’ve already passed the whole file over to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office to handle the prosecution, dropping a blunt statement noting, “Because this case involves a juvenile, no additional information will be released from our agency.”
