Princess Love and Ray J still haven’t settled their divorce following mediation where the two were supposed to hash out an agreement that worked in both of their favors. But according to Radar Online, the pair were both at odds during the proceedings that they’ve now been given a date for their trial as the matter heads back to court.
A judge has scheduled their trial to start in March, as per the aforementioned news outlet where a settlement will inevitably be reached once the process concludes. The “One Wish” singer filed for divorce back in October 2021 after two previous attempts to call it quits, but it appeared the couple was able to work things out… until Princess went ahead and filed her own legal docs, requesting to move ahead with the divorce and that the court set a trial in regards to spousal support, child support, custody, and division of property.
According to Ray J, because the pair had signed a prenuptial agreement prior to tying the knot back in the summer of 2016, he previously asked the judge to terminate his wife’s right to any spousal support and that all of his earnings before and during the marriage remain separated. In August, Princess said she was open to the idea of reconciling with the reality star, but given that a court date has now been set for March, it would seem as if their divorce will be finalized after all.
A few months prior, while talking to TMZ, Princess made it clear that it was Ray J who was pushing for the divorce and that if calling it quits for good is what he wanted, then she wouldn’t stand in the way of not cooperating. “You never know. The door is always open. We love each other but when you stop trying you have to do what you have to do,” she said. “I don’t know what I want but when someone keeps filing for divorce you have to give them what they want.”

Princess and Ray J share two children together, son Epic and daughter Melody. Their relationship has been very turbulent over the years, with Princess having accused the singer of cheating on her. In 2019, Princess also accused Ray J of leaving her stranded at a hotel in Las Vegas after attending the Soul Train Awards.
