Following Bryant’s passing, Sejkora’s initial remarks read on a since deleted Facebook post, “Not gonna lie. Seems to me that karma caught up with a rapist today.” Upon her resignation, she stated, “I have some personal experience that generated the visceral reaction. This was a situation where I didn’t think before I posted, and I’m terribly regretful about that. ”
In addition to Sejkora’s latest statement, Camas Schools superintendent Jeff Snell says, “This has been a tumultuous week; however, I’ve been impressed with the level of professionalism our staff members have displayed as well as the caring and compassion from our families.”
