Milwaukee Bucks guard, Patrick Beverly is apologizing for some of his actions that took place during the first round of the playoffs when he threw a ball at a group of Indiana Pacers fans. Which also led to him kicking a female reporter out the locker room during his post-game interview.

Beverley expressed regret in a video released on Tuesday, teasing an upcoming episode of “The Pat Bev Podcast” scheduled to air on Wednesday. He acknowledged the incident as “unfortunate” and admitted to his wrongdoing, stating that it should never have occurred. “What I did was bad, and that should have never happened. I have to be better and I will be better. That should have never happened, regardless of what was said, simple as that.” While speaking about what caused him to throw the ball at fans he didn’t go too much into detail but he said the situation stemmed from fans “talking to me crazy”

As we previously reported, when questioned about the incident during a post-game interview with reporters, Beverley chose not to respond. However, he did comment on a social media post that featured the video, stating, “Not fair at all. Exchanges between a fan and our team occurred throughout the night. We repeatedly asked for assistance and warnings all night. It is not fair.” 6 hours later, Beverly also added another post saying, “But I have to do better and I will.” During his postgame media session, Beverley refused to allow a specific journalist to ask a question after learning that she had not subscribed to his podcast.

He instructed her to remove her microphone from his face and eventually requested her to leave the interview circle.

“That’s not the Milwaukee way or the Bucks way,” Buck coach Doc Rivers spoke out and stated about the situation. “We’re better than that. Pat feels awful about that. He also understands emotionally — this is an emotional game and things happen — unfortunately, you’re judged immediately and he let the emotions get the better of him.”

He added, “I had not seen that interview,” Rivers said. “I just heard that that happened. So we talked about that and then the ball-throwing incident. And he made the comment to me about what was being said back his way and I just said, ‘I get it, but we’re coaches and athletes, we’re the entertainers or whatever we are. Sometimes they can be in the wrong, but you just can’t do those certain things.’ And he knows that as well.”
