Packers’ Marquez Valdes-Scantling Claims He Received Death Threats After Fumbling During Colts Game
Green Bay Packers’ Marquez Valdes-Scantling claims he received death threats after fumbling a pass from Aaron Rodgers during their Sunday (Nov. 22) Colts game; which ended 34-31 Indianapolis.
After the tragic and costly fumble, Valdes-Scantling, receiver for the Packers, took to Twitter writing, “Death threats over a football game? Jesus you people need help. It’s actually sick. I’m good. My team got my back.”

Coming to the 26-year-old pro baller’s defense, ESPN NFL Nation Packers reporter Rob Demovsky made a grand point in noting that Valdes-Scantling has showed consistency and proved to be reliable player, with this unfortunate fumble being his first ever in his career. Demovsky wrote, “Here’s a stat to remember: This was Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s FIRST career fumble in 42 games.“
